Cascade Capital Corporation honors Etactics Inc. with a Business Growth Award

August 2011 – Etactics Inc. received a Business Growth Award for the fourth consecutive year, and was recognized as one of 41 Northeast Ohio Business Leaders in Sales and Employment Growth by the Cascade Capital Corporation. The Cascade Capital Business Growth Award recognizes small businesses for their existing and increasingly significant role they play towards the continuing economic growth and vitality of our local area. Small business owners today create a vast majority of new job opportunities across the United States and through the combined sale of their goods and services, account for over 50% of the Gross Domestic Product in the United States.

The Cascade Capital Corporation honors businesses within a six county region surrounding greater Akron that have prominently increased sales and/or employment over the past five years. The criteria to receive a Business Growth Award is that a company's sales must have increased by 100% or $5 million and the full-time employee total must have increased by 50% or 25 employees.

Cascade Capital Corp. is an economic development finance company that has provided dependable financing options to fast growing small companies in Greater Akron and Northeast Ohio since 1983.

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland visits Etactics

October 15, 2010 - Governor Ted Strickland joined business leaders and educators from Northeast Ohio and Cleveland at the offices of Etactics to discuss the undeniable link between education and business growth.

After a tour and brief company overview, Governor Strickland expressed his positive impression of Etactics' business growth since its inception in 1999. He then stressed his commitment to improving education and ensuring that Ohio has a high-skilled workforce, thereby making the state more business-friendly.

"I don't have all the answers," Strickland said. "I never pretended to have all the answers. That's why I've reached out to professional educators, teachers, parent groups and business leaders to ask what is it we must do to make sure Ohio is positioned for future economic growth and development."

Governor Strickland also spoke about positive changes that have been made to Ohio's educational system. He stated that Education Week now rates Ohio as the fifth strongest in education. "Our goal is to make it number one," emphasized Governor Strickland.

Etactics, Inc. was formed in 1999 and provides a wide array of software solutions and revenue cycle improvement products to corporate and healthcare clients. Etactics Honored with Business Growth Award
